Some years ago I tried to play Dead Rising 2, but nothing came of it. I was simply too bad at it.
Survival horror just isn't for me, and in this game there's a shopping mall full of zombies.
But luckily the game is a lot easier (and funnier) in co-op.
Especially after we realized to wear special outfits which e.g. increase movement speed and make zombies less likely to notice you.
The best thing about the game is the clothing selection. Having a man run around in underwear or in a dress is somehow very satisfying for me.
For a long time, I have been thinking that a law is needed that stipulates a pink floral dress as a mandatory outfit in every game. It would immediately make for example Jason Voorhees a funnier character.

The first and original Dead Rising is finally getting a remake. Dead Rising Deluxe Remaster will be released for PS5 digitally on September 19th 2024, and physically in November 2024. The digital version is now available for preorder.
Sadly it's still single player only, no co op.
